The Norfolk County-8 (NC-8) Coalition is seeking a Regional Epidemiologist to support public health initiatives across the towns of Canton, Dedham, Milton, Norwood, Walpole, Wellesley, and Westwood. The Regional Epidemiologist will play a key role in disease surveillance, outbreak management, and health equity efforts within the coalition.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include analyzing and reporting epidemiological data, utilizing MAVEN for communicable disease tracking, developing and implementing regional public health programs, and collaborating with local health departments to improve community health outcomes. The position also involves providing data-driven recommendations for public health interventions, supporting the management of vaccine-preventable diseases, and contributing to disease reporting standards.

Salary

This is a full-time in-person position (40 hours/week) with a competitive salary range of $35.92/hr – $38.03/hr. Candidates must meet the qualifications outlined in the full job description, which can be accessed via the Town of Norwood’s website.
