The Health Agent is responsible for conducting public health
inspections enforcing and interpreting state health codes and
assisting the Health Director and Board of Health to respond
to public health emergencies in accordance with local, state,
and federal codes, regulations, policies, and By-laws. The
employee is required to perform all similar or related duties.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Sanitary or
Environmental Science, Biology or a related field; an
equivalent master craftsman level of trade knowledge; a
minimum of three to five years prior work experience; or an
equivalent combination of education and experience which
provides the required knowledge, skill and/or ability to
perform the essential functions of the job.
